The price of our inclusive hunts is based on several different factors. Any extras can be accommodated but all the charges are passed on to the person requiring extras.
A typical day consists of an all day hunt. We get up early, have breakfast then head out to the hunt area before daylight. Lunches are bagged fresh each morning and eaten while hunting. Then at the end of legal hunting you are picked up and come to the lodge for an evening meal you will remember. Our lodge has modern facilities, satellite TV, and 4 bedrooms with 2 beds in each bedroom. We can accommodate all types of hunters. All hunting is done from ladder tree stands and ground blinds with many locations on the edges of bedding areas, funnels between bedding and feeding, waterholes, and much more. We have heated tree stands that are strategically located near rub lines, scrape lines and we also rattle in nice bucks every year. In Saskatchewan it is legal to use bait and we use the BEST bait which includes grain and fresh 2nd cut high quality alfalfa and plenty of it. The baits are baited for weeks before our hunts start so the deer are accustomed to coming to the bait area. We have 2 way radios and are in the area scouting and baiting while you hunt. This provides you the opportunity to contact us when you desire. We use trail cameras to constantly monitor the baits which gives us the chance to put our hunters where the big boys are hanging out. After harvesting your trophy you can relax at the lodge or come along with us as we do our daily work.
We are friendly honest people and you can rest assured we will do everything we can to make sure your hunt with us will be a good hunt. If you have any questions feel free to contact us by telephone or email. If you phone here and do not talk directly to me leave a message and I will call you back. We have good equipment that is dependable to insure your safety to and from the area. Our area has very limited access and is remote enough that local hunting pressure is not an issue. In fact the only shots you will hear will probably be your own!
The deer herd numbers are up over the last few years and you can expect to see numerous deer each time you take a stand. Antler size varies greatly. The biggest buck's harvested in our area in the last 3 years scored in the 180's with many mature bucks weighing in at over 250 lbs dressed weight. We had 18 hunters in during the fall of 2005 and 17 of them harvested bucks. The hunter that went home with his tag unfilled did so by choice. He let several mid 140's go waiting for a true monster. The biggest limiting factor to you harvesting the buck of a lifetime is you. Letting those 140's go is hard but the guys with patience usually tag the real hawgs! We are FIRM believers in Quality Deer Management and have some good bucks in our area. My goal is for you to experience a good time and harvest a mature quality whitetail.
If you have any questions please ask before buying this hunt.
Thank You
